                Topic: Generation of a three-dimensional lung organoid from human pluripotent stem cells and its applications

                Recapitulation of lung development from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) in three dimensions (3D) would allow deeper insight into human development, as well as the development of innovative strategies for disease modeling, drug discovery and regenerative medicine. In this talk, we will show how we systematically differentiate hPSCs to lung organoids and their potential applications to study human lung development, diseases, stem-cell based therapy, and regenerative medicine.
